Made of lighter material, LVL products are easier and quicker to use than timber during construction. Metsä Wood  Finnjoist & Kerto® LVL

Metsä Finnjoists are manufactured from high-quality oriented strand board (OSB3) web, and flanges made from Metsä Kerto® laminated veneer lumber (LVL). Metsä engineered timber  I-beam Joists deliver uniform strength and rigidity, virtually eradicating floor movement and its associated problems, resulting in greater floor performance. Finnjoists are BM Trada Q-Mark accredited and were the first product on the market to gain European Technical Approval (ETA).

Metsä Kerto® LVL is structural laminated veneer lumber used in all types of construction projects. It is incredibly strong and dimensionally stable, and it does not distort or shrink. It derives its high strength from the homogeneous bonded structure and is an excellent flange material. The end product is an I-beam Joist that is lightweight, incredibly strong, resulting in a quick and reliable installation. Kerto® LVL products are CE marked and certified by VTT Technical Research Centre of Finland, no184/03. Kerto LVL production is managed according to the principles of standard ISO 9001.
